Hybrid wars are not a new kind of warfare, but the continuous military-technological development makes them different from the conventional approach to warfare. The combination of irregular and conventional force capabilities, either operationally or tactically integrated, although historically not necessarily a unique phenomenon, presents considerable challenges. The hybrid warfare represents a combination of criminal activities, cyber, irregular and conventional warfare. The main purpose of this article is to analyze the developments and future perspectives of hybrid warfare.
