The PfP Consortium established the Euro-Atlantic Conflict Studies Working Group in 1999, originally as the Military History Working Group. The mission of the group has evolved from leveraging historical analysis for military education to addressing modern security challenges, such as hybrid warfare and disinformation. Through its conferences, professional military education curricula, and interdisciplinary collaboration, the group has fostered international scientific cooperation and enhanced NATO's strategic capabilities.
