Planning horizons. Defence Policy and Planning in Deep Uncertainty

The lecture presents the main cycle of planning and implementation defence and force development plans, as well as the main results and the interactions among long-term, mid-term, and short term planning processes. It presents an advanced method of accounting for deeper uncertainty in the policy and force development environment, represented by a set of context scenarios (alternative futures). Currently, lecture notes are available only in Bulgarian. Key references, however, are available online, in the English language.
