Methods and Tools for Decision Support in Security and Defence Management
The lecture provides a definition for ‘decision’ and a number of examples for scientific/ analytical support to decision making in various disciplines of security and defence management. It explains the role of the decision support systems (DSS), providing a definition, classification, and examples. Finally, it discusses the principle of organizing decision support and examples of the respective organization in NATO and selected member countries. Currently, lecture slides are available only in Bullgarian.
